Eyeglass prescription refers to wearing or using glasses that have been prescribed according to specification from an optometrist or ophthalmologist, and are necessary for clear and undisturbed sight of the user. The next number in the eyeglass prescription refers to the part of the eyeglass, called the cylinder, which represents the net difference in power and curvature between two eyes, in the vision test conducted.
